Around the corner

Exhibition of the Dubrovnik Art Association: "Around the Corner" Organized by the Dubrovnik Art Association (DULU), we are pleased to announce the opening of an exhibition featuring works by the association's members on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. The exhibition, titled "Iza kantuna" ("Around the Corner"), will open in the atrium of the Sponza Palace at 7:00 PM. "As so many times before, their theme is Dubrovnik, specifically its less recognizable or less 'frequently used' motifs. Such a choice represents a kind of escape, a sheltering, preservation, and protection... precisely because all the authors featured here are shaped by their own climate and environment," notes art historian Ivan Viđen in the exhibition catalog's foreword. Seventeen members are presenting their work in this fifth exhibition organized by the association this year. The pieces were mostly created during 2026 using acrylic, oil, or mixed media techniques. The exhibition will remain open until October 26, 2026.
