PHOENIX TUP Gallery Exhibition and Poetry Evening Dedicated to the 1991 attack on the City. Organized by USUD (Ana Bašić) and ULIPUD. Exhibition runs from October 1 to October 31, 2026. Opening: October 1, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Titled "PHOENIX," this exhibition commemorating the day of the attack on Dubrovnik highlights the fact that the City—once again in our recent history—has risen from the ashes, rebuilt itself, and is moving forward. A group of artists from ULIPUD and USUD have expressed their feelings regarding that destruction—distant yet close—through both imagery and color. The work is predominantly rendered in black and red, symbolizing death and blood, while a smaller portion points toward renewal through a classic metamorphosis of states of consciousness, spirit, and the very concept and message of the exhibition. The poetry segment serves as an ode to love for the Homeland and a synthesis of two art forms—image and word—capable of conveying so much through a unique dialogue.
