This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies the Experience Dubrovnik website uses, and how you can manage them. The data controller is the Dubrovnik Tourist Board (the website operator).
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences for a period of time.
Which cookies do we use?
We group cookies into three categories:
1. Essential cookies (always active)
They are required for the website to work properly and cannot be switched off. They are not used for tracking or marketing.

The page language (HR/EN) is part of the page address and is not stored in a cookie. We count visits without cookies and without storing IP addresses.
2. Analytics cookies (with your consent)
They help us understand, anonymously and in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4, which is loaded only after you consent to analytics.

3. External content (with your consent)
YouTube videos, maps and social media posts come from external services that set their own cookies. Until you consent to them, you will see a Show button in their place.
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.
Managing consent
On your first visit a bar is shown with the options Accept all, Essential only or Settings (where you can switch analytics and external content on individually). Until you give consent, analytics cookies and external content are not loaded.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by clicking the Cookie settings button in the bottom left corner of the page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings.

We reserve the right to amend this Cookie Policy. All changes are published on this page and, where necessary, we will ask for your consent again.
