Valentine’s Day in Dubrovnik – check out the special program for the most romantic day of the year
Free guided tour of the romantic side of Dubrovnik
In addition to traditional gastronomic days, this Valentine's Day the Dubrovnik Tourist Board is organizing a free thematic tour of the city by Lidija Begić, "Traces of love from antiquity" which will be held on 12, 13 and 14 February, in Croatian at 9.30 and in English at midday. Dubrovnik is full of love stories, whether they are legends or real people who walked these stone streets. This tour follows the streets of the City in their footsteps and talks about real people, grounded historical facts and relies on a bit of historical love whispers. Join us for a walk and discover the reasons for unhappy love stories recorded in Dubrovnik legends, Renaissance enchantments with Cvijeta Zuzorić, love adventures in Držić's works, forbidden love of the Dubrovnik patrician class and remember the magic of first kisses under the red lantern Porporela. Due to epidemiological measures, the number of participants is limited, so please confirm your arrival by Friday, February 11, by 17:00, by e-mail: tic.pile@tzdubrovnik.hr or phone number: +38520312011.
