City of words

The third edition of the literary and cultural festival “Grad od riječi” (City of Words) will take place on September 24 and 25, 2026, at the TUP premises (Gruž) in Dubrovnik. The festival will bring together numerous collaborators from cultural and educational institutions in Dubrovnik.The grand opening of the Festival will be held on Thursday, September 24, starting at 7 PM. Along with an opening speech and the presentation of appreciation awards to long-standing partners, the opening night will feature a panel discussion titled "The Heritage Value of the Written Word: Dubrovnik Naturalists." [1]The panel participants are: Nenad Jasprica, Dubravka Tulio, Katarina Ivanišin, and Irena Ipšić.The following day, visitors can look forward to an all-day program that includes workshops, literary talks, book presentations, and a book fair where publishers and other partners will showcase their editions.
