PONTA LOPUD BOOK BRIDGE
17–19/09/2026
Since 2024, Ponta Lopud Book Bridge has brought literature, ideas and cultural exchange to the island of Lopud, bringing together prominent Croatian and international authors, thinkers and artists. The festival creates a space for conversation, the exchange of experiences and the connection of different cultural and linguistic perspectives through the power of the written word.
This year’s theme, Memory, Belonging, Storytelling, explores the power of stories to preserve memories, shape a sense of belonging and connect people across different experiences and cultures.
Book Bridge brings together literary conversations, author readings, book presentations and discussions, fostering an open dialogue between authors, audiences and different cultures. The island thus becomes a place of encounter, inspiration and new ideas, while literature serves as a bridge connecting people and their diverse stories.
