The Dubrovnik Tourist Board proudly announces the launch of an exclusive marketing campaign in New York, one of the world’s most important metropolises. As part of strategic promotional activities in foreign markets, Dubrovnik will be featured from February 3rd to 16th, 2025, at the prestigious digital location on Times Square, one of the most renowned advertising spaces in the world.
On the impressive screen, dominating the northern entrance to Times Square, standing nearly 30 meters high, an attractive 15-second video with the message "Alluring Dubrovnik, Croatia" is being broadcast. This screen, with its unique shape and location, captures the attention of millions of passersby, including Broadway theatergoers, tourists, shoppers, and business professionals working in the heart of New York. It is estimated that the video will reach over 13.7 million people during the campaign.
"Dubrovnik's presence on Times Square is a great honor and a strategically important step in strengthening the recognition of our city in the American market. This campaign not only enhances Dubrovnik's image as a prestigious global destination but also further positions our city in the minds of potential travelers from the USA," said Miro Drašković, Director of the Dubrovnik Tourist Board.
American tourists rank second in the number of visits to Dubrovnik in 2024, with 186,869 arrivals and 513,234 overnight stays, marking an 11% increase in arrivals and a 10% increase in overnight stays compared to the year before.
The USA is one of the key markets for Dubrovnik, and the Tourist Board continuously invests in promotion in this area through digital campaigns and media collaborations, as well as participation in leading tourism fairs and business workshops. The campaign on Times Square represents another step forward in strengthening Dubrovnik's global recognition and creating additional inspiration for travel in 2025.
