Wandering Pannonian Nativity Scene in Dubrovnik
Organised by the Diocese of Dubrovnik, the Croatian-Austrian Society Dubrovnik, the Austrian-Croatian Society Vienna, the Croatian Heritage Foundation – Dubrovnik Branch, the Linđo Folklore Ensemble and the Dubrovnik Museums, the Wandering Pannonian Christmas Nativity Scene of the Burgenland Croats from Austria will be presented on Sunday, 14 December 2025 at 12:00 noon, following the Mass in the Church of St Blaise in Dubrovnik. After the presentation, the vocal ensemble of the Linđo Folklore Ensemble will perform the traditional Dubrovnik Kolenda.
The programme dedicated to the arrival and presentation of the Wandering Pannonian Christmas Nativity Scene in Dubrovnik will continue the same day, Sunday, 14 December, at 6:00 p.m. in the Rector’s Palace, with a lecture delivered by two guests from the Austrian-Croatian Society in Vienna, Thomas Steiner and Petar Tyran, followed by a concert performed by fortepianist Ivana Jelača and soprano Marija Lešaja in the Music Hall of the Rector’s Palace.
