Dubrovnik Jazz Outbreak 2025
From November 7 to 9, 2025, Lazareti will once again become the center of top-quality music with the fifth edition of the Dubrovnik Jazz Outbreak Festival. The festival, organized by Dubrovačka baština d.o.o., is held with the support of the City of Dubrovnik and the Dubrovnik Tourist Board, and represents a key cultural event of the post-season.
Just before last year’s edition of the Monterey Jazz Festival, the world’s longest-running jazz festival, held in Dubrovnik’s sister city of Monterey, California, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the two festivals. This step paves the way for the exchange of musicians and new cultural initiatives.

The 5th festival edition brings collaborations with the legendary Monterey Jazz Festival – the world's longest-running jazz festival – and the Austrian Cultural Forum.
Friday, Nov 7
8 PM — Christian Sands Trio (USA)
The festival opens with one of the most remarkable young jazz pianists of today. Christian Sands, a multiple Grammy-nominated artist known for his virtuosity and energy that bridges tradition and modern jazz, is coming to Dubrovnik in collaboration with the Monterey Jazz Festival.

7:30 PM — Jazz & Light Fusion in front of Sponza Palace
Sunday, Nov 9
8 PM — Maja Rivić Quintet – "Drugo Sunce"
Closing night with emotion, groove, and soul.

Alternate Take – Exhibition of works by 3rd-year students of the Luka Sorkočević Art School, mentored by Professor Viktor Daldon.
