Dubrovnik - Mercedes Benz "Fantasy Land"

Until mid-April, Dubrovnik will be host to the world-class event ˝Mercedes - Global Training Experience 2016˝. A special feature of this year's presentation of the E-class is that it is organized in this form only once in seven years. Every day luxurious Mercedes pass through the city streets, as a total of 340 C, S and E class models were brought to Dubrovnik for this occasion.

Every week for the duration of the Global Training Experience 2016, 4 groups of about 350-400 delegates will stay in Dubrovnik, which means a total of 12,000 delegates will visit our city, as well as about 150 members of the organizing team. Guests of the Daimler GMBH company, which is the main organizer, are staying in the Valamar President, Valamar Lacroma, and Radisson Blu Dubrovnik Sun Gardens hotels. The organizing agency is Stagg & Friends, while the local agent is DT Croatia – Dubrovnik Travel. Commenting on the importance of this event, which has been organized during a period when Dubrovnik usually does not achieve significant tourist traffic, the mayor of Dubrovnik Andro Vlahušić pointed out that far more significant than the realisation of overnight stays is the important connection of the Dubrovnik and Mercedes brands and the marketing effect that will be produced.

The new Mercedes models are also displayed in a number of spots in the old city, attracting the attention of both local residents and their guests. Test drives are taking place around town and the surrounding area, as well as in the Port of Dubrovnik.
