Dubrovnik Reaches Three Million Overnight Stays One Day Earlier Than Last Year

According to data from the eVisitor system, Dubrovnik recorded its three millionth overnight stay on August 22, one day earlier than last year, confirming stable tourism results and Dubrovnik’s continued recognition on the international tourism market.

From January 1 to August 22, a total of 931,660 tourists visited Dubrovnik, generating 3,000,099 overnight stays. Of these, international visitors accounted for 878,283 arrivals and 2,862,862 overnight stays, while domestic visitors recorded 53,377 arrivals and 137,237 overnight stays.

According to data for the period from January 1 to August 22, the largest number of visitors to Dubrovnik came from the United Kingdom and the United States, followed by visitors from France, Poland, Germany, Croatia, Spain, Ireland, Australia and Canada.

Excellent tourism results are also supported by very good air connectivity. During the 2026 summer flight schedule, Dubrovnik is directly connected to 70 international destinations, further confirming its accessibility and recognition in key source markets.

Reaching three million overnight stays one day earlier than last year confirms the success of the tourism season so far, as well as the importance of continuous activities focused on quality destination management, sustainable tourism development and the year-round promotion of Dubrovnik.
